Full-Stack Engineer
Help us ship the ielaan marketplace — Node.js microservices on the backend, Next.js on the web. You'll own features end to end: from schema design to the pixels a screen owner sees when a booking lands at midnight.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain Node.js + Express microservices — bookings, payments, real-time device tracking
- Ship Next.js pages for advertisers and screen owners, contributing to our design system
- Work directly with MongoDB, Socket.io, Stripe Connect, and the OpenAI API
- Own your domain: design it, build it, deploy it, monitor it
- Keep test coverage at 70%+ on critical paths (payments, auth, disputes)
What we need
- 3+ years shipping Node.js and React/Next.js to production
- Solid understanding of REST API design, MongoDB, and async patterns
- Can read a product spec and close it without hand-holding
- Based in Pakistan or available to overlap PKT business hours
- TypeScript fluency — we don't write JavaScript
Nice to have
- Experience with microservices or event-driven architecture
- Familiarity with Stripe Connect or payment escrow flows
- Background in marketplace products (two-sided platforms)
